无人的时候，……十二个门徒问……（可4：10）
祂与我们独处。神藉困苦、创伤、试诱、失望、疾病、爱情的挫折、友谊的破裂，或新友情的建立，把我们带到一个孤单的境况；我们哑口无言，一句话也问不出来。这时，祂才开始向我们解说。 试看看耶稣怎样训练十二门徒。当时困惑不解的是门徒，不是外面的群众。他们不住地发问，祂也不住地讲解：可是要等到他们接受了圣灵，才真正了解（约14：26）。 你若与神同行，你唯一可以明了的事，也是神唯一要你明了的事，就是祂要对付你的内心。弟兄的愁苦和疑难，你是一概不明白的。 我们以为很明白别人的情况，直到神向我们的毛病，给上一服药。其实每人心中都有一大片顽梗愚昧的区域，有待圣灵向我们显明。 只有当耶稣抓住我们单独见面，才能作成。 我们现在是否与主独处？还是浮游于无谓的思想里？忙乱于无关重要的事奉上？或是为身体作无谓的打算？ 除非我们停止头脑上杂七杂八的问题，单独面对耶稣，否则祂无法向我们讲解真理。

祈祷 主啊，今天特别是属祢的日子；让我们唯独纪念祢。那些遍布世界各地、能与祢面对面的仆人和使女是有福的。宽恕我的迟缓，因为我需要那么长的时间，才醒觉某些事情。

When God gets us alone through suffering, heartbreak, temptation, disappointment, sickness, or by thwarted desires, a broken friendship, or a new friendship— when He gets us absolutely alone, and we are totally speechless, unable to ask even one question, then He begins to teach us. Notice Jesus Christ’s training of the Twelve. It was the disciples, not the crowd outside, who were confused. His disciples constantly asked Him questions, and He constantly explained things to them, but they didn’t understand until after they received the Holy Spirit (see John 14:26). As you journey with God, the only thing He intends to be clear is the way He deals with your soul. The sorrows and difficulties in the lives of others will be absolutely confusing to you. We think we understand another person’s struggle until God reveals the same shortcomings in our lives. There are vast areas of stubbornness and ignorance the Holy Spirit has to reveal in each of us, but it can only be done when Jesus gets us alone. Are we alone with Him now? Or are we more concerned with our own ideas, friendships, and cares for our bodies? Jesus cannot teach us anything until we quiet all our intellectual questions and get alone with Him.
